On Saturday, September 18, 2021, seventy volunteers helped to pick up 1,500 pounds of trash around Campbelltown Village. That may sound like a lot of trash, but it’s actually less than what we collected during our previous spring cleanup event. That means our efforts are working and overall there is less litter and trash around the community now that there are regular cleanup crews helping to keep the area clean.
We also removed the summer plants from the flower pots downtown to get them ready for the fall plants. See below for a few samples of our fall flower pots that sprinkle the Campbelltown Villiage area. Lastly, we moved down to the roundabout on Forge road to pick up trash and weed the area. While we were there we were able to add seven Coneflowers – a lovely plant that is native to our area.
Special thanks to Pizza 322 who donated pizza to feed our amazing, wonderful volunteers.
See you next spring!
