Fifth Annual Holiday Tree Lighting

Our biggest event of the year keeps getting bigger 🙂 A huge thank you to everyone who has come out the past few years to help us celebrate the beginning of the holiday season. Be sure to mark your calendars for our 2023 event which is gearing up to be our best year yet!

Sunday, November 26th from 3-5pm at Campbelltown Community Park

The Big Guy

Why not start with the main event? The one and only; the man, the myth, the legend; the big guy…. That’s right, Santa Claus will be at the park for pictures and chatting with all his adoring fans. Here he is in his hut last year with his bestie the Grinch who may or may not be making another appearance this year.

So Much Free Fun!

Each year we have a table set up for kids of all ages to craft letters to Santa. To make sure it gets to the big guy, we also have an official Santa mailbox complete with stepping stool to make sure every letter gets to where it needs to go.

Similar to last year, we’ll have a DJ spinning all the holiday hits: Mariah Carey, Michael Bublé, Elvis Presley, Wham!, and so many more that there’s not enough room to list them all here. Feel free to sing along as you shop and enjoy the ambiance, because as we all know…

Back by popular demand, we’ll have a scavenger hunt throughout the event, a table full of guess-how-much-candy-is-in-the-jar jars, and of course, our Plinco game. Each game includes small prizes and big fun, all free and part of the holiday festivities.

The Food Trucks

We currently have three food trucks lined up: Haj Paj, Chubby Unicorn, and Shorty’s Funnel Cakes. Warning: the images below are of delicious food, but you might have to wait until November 26th to get some.

Book Signing By a Local Author

Wait, wait, there’s more! Palmyra Greenhouse will there with fresh wreaths. But that’s not all… The owner of Palmyra Greenhouse, Jessica Maloy, also happens to be the author of Rosie and Friends: Adventures of a Flower Truck. Not only will she have copies of her book available for purchase (perfect for a holiday gift) but she’ll sign them, too.

Basket Raffle

Back in high demand is our basket raffle located under our fabulous pavilion. While we don’t want to give away too many details just yet, here are pictures from previous events so you can get an idea about the wonderful, wide selection of baskets that will be available for our 5th annual event.

If you’re interested in donating a basket, please send us an email: it’s our name, campbelltowncommunityalliance, at gmail dot com.

***Don’t forget to bring cash or check! Due to legalities completley out of our control, we cannot accept PayPal (or any other cash apps) and we can’t accept credit cards.

State Police Mounted Unit and Stuff a Cruiser

Not to take away from how very, very cool Santa is, but have you seen the kiddos go crazy over the giant horses in the State Police Mounted Unit? Below is a shot from one of our earlier tree lighting events.

***Don’t forget to bring a an unwrapped gift for the annual Fill a Cruiser event.

Holiday Shopping!

Finally, we’ll have over a dozen vendors available for you to get in some early holiday shopping: jewelry, Color Street, Neora skin  and hair care, home baked sweets, cocoa bombs, and woodworking just to name a few. Salem Church will also be selling baked goods and cookbooks and all of their proceeds will go to the Caring Cupboard.
